Our specialty leashes and harnesses have been field tested by numerous dogs and their owners to create life changing products that are humane, easy-to-use and will help you and your dog love every walk in every setting.

Harold

Designer | Owner

Harold is a life-long dog lover. After many years in rural New England, a move to Baltimore city presented many challenges for his strong, pulling dogs. Retractable leashes gave his dogs the "space" they required when "doing their business," but the dangers were instantly evident (and quite terrifying to boot). After many purchases of other expandable leashes on the market, Harold quickly learned these options were cumbersome and difficult to use. He knew there had to be an easier, safer solution and set out to design the Omni Expandable Leash.

From there, Harold designed a humane, 3- point connection, no-pull harness. And voila! The Omni Harness was born. This safe and effective harness makes dog walking a breeze even for the strongest of pullers.

Creating high-quality products that improve the lives of dogs and their humans at affordable prices is Harold's #1 priority.

Dominique

Sales, Marketing | Owner

Dominique has always been (and always will be) crazy about dogs. In fact, she's more inclined to forget human names, but never a dog's name.

With a penchant for sales, marketing and creative endeavors (as well as being Harold's wife), working as a member of Team ComPAWdre was a no-brainer.

Per Dominique, "It's rewarding to work with our wonderful customers and their dogs and sit back and witness the instant impact our products make. Owners quickly realize that their once strong pulling dog who didn't get out much, will now have a 'new leash on life.' Our leashes and harnesses are that game changing."

What's better than working with dogs (and their humans), and improving their lives, you ask? Dominique can't think of a thing!

Hank

VP of Customer Relations

Hank is a honey sable Standard Poodle and has been a brand ambassador since ComPAWdre's inception. We're not sure if it's his fluffy face, endless curls, or calm demeanor, but he attracts attention everywhere he goes. And Hank is always game to demo our products.

Favorite Things: Long romps with his Omni Harness and Expandable Leash, beautiful drives in the convertible and watching the world go by, cold water from the tap, grilled pork, Tom Petty, destuffing Benny's toys, and corn bread.

Pet Peeves: Fireworks, and skateboarders (both are loud and terribly uncivilized).

Ben

VP of Product Testing

Ben's a brown and white parti Standard Poodle and has been testing products since he was a wee lad. You might say he's a huge part of the inspiration of our proprietary leashes and harnesses, but we don't harp on that too much. In fact, we thank him often (he's a willful puller).

A helpless romantic, Benny is generous with his love, but not his toys. He's opinionated, so when he says our products work - we know we're off to the races.

Favorite Things: Testing ComPAWdre products, ball and toy hogging, long hikes, wooing the lady dogs in the neighborhood, leisurely rides in the convertible and RV, and his prized collection of stuffed animals (particularly Uni, Dino, and Piggie - and yes, he knows his toys by name).

Pet Peeves: Salmon, sharing his toys with Hank.

Kirby

The Intern

Meet the newest member of our team, "Kirby Winston," a blue merle Miniature Poodle. Born November 1, 2023, he has much to learn here at ComPAWdre Headquarters. Although he thinks he's Commander in Chief (of the world), his true title is "company shredder." Kirby is doing well with potty training, basic commands (high fives and sits) and is a champion step leaper and napper.

Favorite Things: food, his giant stuffed Lamb Chop, wind sprints, jumping on his brothers, and adventures in the company RV.

Pet Peeves: he doesn't have any (yet). He pretty much loves everthing and everyone.
